Join us for a creative 2 hour class and create your own hand built mug! This is a great opportunity to find out if the world of clay is a hidden passion that has yet to be discovered. You will receive step by step instruction, hand building and underglazing techniques. Upon completion, your piece will be fired and ready for pickup 2 weeks from the date of the class.

In this class, students will learn the basics of throwing pottery on the wheel. The class is a hands-on experience with the instructor, where you learn the correct form and pressure to handle spinning clay. Each student makes two bowls and gets to decorate them on the wheel in class using underglazes. The instructor will finish off the piece with trimming, glazing, and two firings. The student will be able to pick up their bowls two weeks after class. The finished bowls are food safe, microwave safe, and dishwasher safe. Students must be age 10(+). 1 session, 1-1.5 hours.

Bring yourself and maybe a friend for a fun class with Hannah Lawson! Paint your own butter dish with fun colors and make it yours! Your glazed dishes will be fired and ready for pick up in 7 days.

Hannah will pre-make all of the butter dishes and they will be ready for glazing when you arrive! This is a very limited class, so sign up today!
